Microsoft's Xbox One will launch in Japan and 25 other countries on Sept. 4, the company announced today.
Pricing information was not revealed. According to the announcement, 48 game developers (listed in full below) in the region have expressed their interest in developing software for the Xbox One, which will add to the titles already available for the console.
The next-gen hardware was initially released on Nov. 22, 2013 in the U.S., Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the U.K., Mexico, New Zealand and Spain. At launch, it retailed in North America for $499, £429 in the U.K. and in Europe for €499.
