Catch a Fatal Star in 'Marvel Mighty Heroes'

Marvel Mighty Heroes: Catch a Fatal Star

Another week and the crew over at DeNA bring us another awesome installment of “Marvel Mighty Heroes” with “Catch a Fatal Star,” the first episode in the Age of Ultron event. Senior Producer John King dishes out everything you need to know about this incredible new adventure.

Marvel.com: Infinity and Inhumanity have paved the way for the next big “Marvel Mighty Heroes” event, Age of Ultron. What have you guys learned from the first two arcs? Have you changed anything for this one?

John King: We have learned a lot from the first couple of event arcs and you will really see the differences as the Age of Ultron plays out. Age of Ultron was an epic storyline and we wanted to reflect that with new maps and characters. In addition to that we’re going to be tweaking the leaderboard and rewards as well as adding a few exciting features you’ll get to experience very soon!

Marvel.com: I think this is the first time players have gone up against Hydra, though likely not the last. What kind of missions are we looking at this week?

John King: The missions for “Catch a Fatal Star" will take your heroes to Wakanda. With the return to Wakanda will be the return of the popular “Gauntlet” style missions. The gauntlet mode missions will definitely put you and your friends’ heroes to the test.

Marvel.com: Taskmaster’s the boss for “Catch a Fatal Star.” Can you tell us anything about this super-powered copycat?

John King: Taskmaster is a character that is very near and dear to me personally and a favorite of the team in general, even going so as to call our development director “The Taskmaster.” He is going to be a tricky one to battle as he’s our first character to have three skills right off the bat! Skills he stole from some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, mind you. As a boss he truly embodies his motto, “Anything you can do I can do better.”

Marvel.com: And he’s the leaderboard reward too right?

John King: He sure is! We are also trying something different with this reward. He is going to be our first leaderboard character that releases with three skills! Having borrowed from three of the best Captain America, Hawkeye, and Gamora, Taskmaster is going to awesome character to have in the roster.

Marvel.com: Anything else you want to tell fans here at the beginning of Age of Ultron?

John King: There is a lot great stuff planned for Age of Ultron. New suits for old characters, brand new heroes joining the fight, new environment’s and much, much more. The “Marvel Mighty Heroes” team cannot wait for everyone to get their hands on it.

Play “Catch a Fatal Star” this week and get set for more events! Stay tuned for more “Marvel Mighty Heroes” news and interviews!
